I set myself up for failure…

I know, for years of trying to get things done for myself as a creative, that daily posting, especially daily posting with a themed requirement, is not very achievable for me. I love the flow of the work and genuinely hate disrupting that flow to have to go work on something else.

And the solution is genuinely simple.

I just need to share what I am working on right now and share more on the personal journey of it all. Yeah, it is great to see that I have a book series in progress. But the parts that excite are why that book series? What in it called to me? What did I learn while writing it? How did the further questions it raised lead to the development of a series instead of a single story or cause things to spin off into new stories.

These are what I want to post and blog about.

I will, of course, need to market my books but that’s not what these support pages or my website are really for. They are to let you in behind that scenes.

So, no. Today isn’t going to Renaissance of Self day anymore.

But it is going to be honest and true to me. And I hope that’s enough.

6.1.26 – What I am working on/ accomplished this week:

• I got Renaissance of Self: Part 1 – The Escape updated on KDP.
  • The original upload is now labeled as the PICTURE EDITION and it features the character and instrument artwork I create as well as links or QR codes out to the songs I created for the novel: Puffed ‘n’ Poofy, Amber Moon’s Aria, and A Toast to Us.
  • There is a nw upload that is the REFLOWABLE EDITION and it can be read on any kindle product NOT JUST the app and certain Kindle Fire devices like the fixed page multimedia version. This version is also enrolled in Kindle Select which means that if you are subscribed to Kindle Unlimited, you have access to read this book at no additional fee.
  • The Print version got a cover update with a higher pixel count cover and a correction to my website as another piece of news will discuss below.
• We launched TrinityCrescentCreations.com
  • I have had my wordpress blog for almost a decade if not more but it finally has a proper domain name and it isn’t just for me.
    • Trinity Crescent Creations is our umbrella for everything the Lionhearts create.
      • That’s me: Tara Lionheart (TaLi), Wizard Lionheart, and Lady Lionheart.
    • What all it encompasses:
      • TaLi Presents: My creative endeavors
      • Wizard Lionheart Presents: The Wizard’s creative endeavors
      • Millennial Magick, LLC: Our physical assets sales marketplace.
        • Most commonly, this is our magical tools and accoutrements. Wands, Amulets, Rings, and, very soon, our tarot cards.

• Finally this week, I’ve been hard at work on Episode 2 of the Persephone Cycle.
  • If you haven’t gotten in on this show yet, here’s a link to Episode 1: The Maiden Among the Asphodels, hosted on the WriteTaLiWrite youtube channel.
    • Episode 1 got us into the art world of 1895 London and introduced us to Cora Vance, T. Corbin Croft, Lord Aleron Ashworth, and the rest of the Vance family.
    • Episode 2 takes Cora into the artistic underworld alone and explores the oppression of her grandmother and Persephone as an oppressed goddess being over-parented by Demeter.
