So one of the things in my novel, Renaissance of Self: Part 1 – The Escape, is that Cressa’s new friend Esther is competing in the Historical Sewing Society’s Renaissance Era costume competition. In the competition, Esther is recreating this painting:
Esther is recreating this specific portrait. One that I have never seen before researching for this novel and one have never seen any blog recreate either. But I really wanted to see Esther in her recreation. Thus I turned to my AI tools: Nightcafe, and my own abilities in editing using Paint.net.

These are my general renderings. I ran some more that didn’t work because they were more painted or drawn and not photographic in nature. From these, I assembled my own painting. It was quite a Frankenstein project but I am rather satisfied with it.
I added in the important features for the character including the Star of David mostly by hand. I feel this represents everything I wanted from this project. This is probably my favorite AI and TaLi effort piece I’ve made thus far.
*Updated book title and name of the Society to match my current naming in the project. 07/04/2024
